NOTE: We do not ship liquor/spirits outside of the State of Florida.
TITLE OF SALE All alcoholic beverages are deemed to be sold in Florida and title passes to the buyer in the State of Florida. Therefore, 7% Florida sales tax will be charged on all orders. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of the State of Florida. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Villagewine1000.com will only sell and deliver wine to persons of legal drinking age (21 years old minimum). By placing an order you are affirming you are of legal drinking age. Customers shipping out of state assume ownership of purchased goods on the premises of the store and assume any tax or duty and any other local legal responsibilities involved in the shipping or importing of wines or liquors.By arranging for transportation of the wine, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age. Weather Conditions Wine can be damaged by temperature extremes. The responsibility is that of the buyer to advise us what temperatures are in your area. During months of temperature extremes, we offer temperature controlled storage of orders that meet our requirements.During the hottest or coldest parts of the year, it is common for us to delay shipments until the beginning of the week to prevent packages being stored over the weekend in UPS facilities. Please be aware, however, that we cannot be held responsible if you request shipment and the wines travel in a climate outside of our control. All Customers Pay Shipping and Packaging Charges. If the customer cancels an order after it has been shipped, that individual is responsible for all initial shipping charges as well as any and all additional return fees for goods sold.
